Gaia Online is an online website, where you can play games, make a profile and avatar, explore towns, go on the all new ZOMG MMO (Exclusive to Gaia) And earn money to build your avatar, house and plenty more. You can even race in your Gaia Cars, get a driving license!

The main feature of Gaia is the utter customizability of your pages, avatars ect. and it costs absolutely nothing to use, but you can also buy special items each month with your money, or buy other special items with gaia cash, which with Gaia Cash you can buy anything with it. You can also open up a shop, sell your unused items, and trade in. You can even start a guild, or join one, make events, recruit people etc.

The Games include Slots, Cards, Fishing, Zomg, Pinball and many others, which in any you can earn money with, although with the gambling things you buy tokens and win tickets which you use to buy items exclusive to the ticket gambling. With Fishing, you can earn fish which you can sell or trade in for other things

==Bocking and Powerising==

Powerstiliting, known either as Powerising, Or BOCKING, after the creator of these amazing things. They come in many models, sizes, kg of springs, and quality. I own a pair myself, and I remember the first time I was on there. I thought I’d fall down, and I did. A few times. It doesnt hurt, though!

Anyways, After 3 trys on them, I’m walking like a pro, running decently (Fell down ONCE while running.) and even jumping a little!(My technique isnt quite right, yet) So anyways, a good place to get them is Pro Jumps , but you should NEVER. EVER. GET THEM. FROM. EBAY. Why, you ask? Because its highly likely that you’ll get a pair of SKYRUNNERS, (My bro got some, but he got lucky with a few parts) Which are the worst types of powerisers I know of. They dont even pay homage to the creater of the powerisers, Alexander Bock!

I dont mean to be selfish or anything, But sometimes, I want more views. So if YOU guys could reccomend me to some friends, they’ll be some rewards!

Straight into the review, In Half Life 2 (The sequel to Half Life) you play as Gordon Freeman, scientist. Its a first person shoot em up/puzzle, although your main weapon is to control the environment with the Gravity Gun. The Gravity Gun is able to pick up, punt and generally manipulate enviromental qualities. In Half Life 2, you start off being, what, talked to by some weird buisness guy you see in Half Life, Called the Gman (Or Administrator). When he fades away, you find yourself in a train on the way to a combine base, who are the main enemies in your game.

Half Life 2 does contain various points where you will have to solve a puzzle, Which some can be challenging, or not so challenging. You may encounter a few companions or refugees along the way to help you, but not many. This, I think, Makes the game a little more difficult, and a bit more fun. The game does have expansions- Episode one and two!

Another thing- The Half Life 2 Engine has alot of mods made off it, so if you get bored of Half-Life 2, You can play some of its modified content! For example, You could play Modular Combat, a game where you can play against other players, gain EXP, collect weapons, level up, get new skills ect. Or you can play against AI monsters, which are also rather fun to play with.

==Cuckoo==

This little birdie chimes once every hour to remind you that, um the next hour is beginning? If you are into that sort of thing, purchase the license ($6) and it’ll chime the number of the hour instead of just once an hour. Wow. Impressive.

It’s way cheaper than buying an actual cuckoo clock anyway.

==Offshoots==

Got green fingers or love plants? Offshoots animates your desktop with growing branches and leaves. They grow from all directions and supposedly follows your mouse cursor. Not to mention, they’re very pretty to look at, and serene too. They can grow on a solid colour desktop or above your current wallpaper. You can also use it as a screensaver!

Everything is customizable, from the number of branches to the size of the leaves to the curliness of the branches.

==iCursor==

Getting bored of the regular, black Mac mouse cursor? Why do Windows users get to have all the fun with customizable cursors? Now you can have some cursor-fun too! iCursor adds particle animations to your cursor trails. Have stars shoot out from the end of your cursor or set it on fire. There are almost 20 different animations to choose from and you can customize each one to your liking.

Hah. Who needs them pretty cursors?

==HeartMonitor==

This application places a heart right on your desktop. It beats faster or slower according to your computer’s CPU usage. Turn on the sound and it gets kind of realistic. It even made me slightly worried when my CPU usage increased while I was running some CPU-intensive programs.

Forget iStat Menus or MenuMeters. This is all you need.

==EvilMac==

Turn your Mac evil. Not literally, of course. Not even close, actually. All this app does to turn my Mac evil is invert the colours. You could do the same thing by invoking Cmd-Opt-Ctrl-8. But watch your friends’ faces when you start this application. It’s even funnier when they accidentally start it themselves. They might even panic a bit!

==Hide Folders==

Have you ever wanted to hide certain files from view? Well, there’s the long method. And then there’s Hide Folders. Launch the app and simply drag anything you’d like to hide into it. And boom! The files are gone! It also allows you to add a password which needs to be entered before the files can be revealed.

This application might actually turn out to be useful. Wait a minute. How’d that happen?

==BinClocken==

Binary clocks have never made much sense to me. Why make something as simple as time so difficult to read? But once I learnt the basics to deciphering time on binary clocks, it turned out to be quite fun. They’re still quite enigmatic if your friends have no idea what they’re staring at.

BinClocken’s LED and background are customizable and there’re quite a few to choose from. Also, you can set its window level to normal, float or stay put on the desktop. It’s not too big until being obtrusive, neither is it too small to be read.

==Snowflakes and XMasLights==

Have you been feeling Christmassy? Winter is still a while away. You can have it start a little earlier on your desktop, though. Snowflakes superimpose falling snowflakes above your windows.

XMasLights adds a little holiday cheer on the side (or rather, at the top) with some blinking lights right below your menu bar! Turn this one on, especially XMasLights and you’ll be surprised how much you’ll be in the mood to party.

Sometimes life is too short to always be productive or efficient. Relive the child in you, have some fun and feel younger!

Today I’m reviewing a fellow blogger’s blog. You may have noticed that I mentioned him a few days ago, but nevertheless.

Kwilfaey is an 11 year old computer obsessed genius. Hes even managed to make noise cancellation headphones for 8 pounds. I’ll be posting referrences later. He mainly reviews Apple’s amazing Iphone, with all the apps, games ect. I’m not suprised, to be honest! The quality of his writing is amazing, and almost funny!

He has a few viewers, but one thing I think hes going down on. Hes making an occasional review for a certain amount of viewers. Kwilfaey, If your reading this, post some reviews like HELL. Anyways, that I think is taking his views WAY down for the count. The posts worth note are the ‘Tiltshift Photography’ and the ‘The Web is the Battlefield of the Future’ They are both highly detailed, and rather interesting.

On our scale of 10, we give this blog a 7.3/10.

==Left For Dead==
Now is our second review. Left For Dead. (PC Version) Left For Dead is set in a zombie apocalypse world, and you play as one of four survivors. Francis, the biker dude. Bill, old army veteran. Zoey, teenager brought into a world of horror. And Louis. Pill freak. As many say.

The first mode we’ll be talking about is the Campaign. Campaign, as you know, is the story. As Left for Dead does not have much storyline in it, you venture through the zombie apocalypse to get to the rescue zone. Safe rooms, posted in between levels, are the level switchers as such. As a survivor, you must battle normal infected. But you think thats easy? Well, theres more, my good friends. The special infecteds, Hunter, Smoker, Witch, Boomer, and the Tank. The hunter is a individual which can jump far distances, and run faster than the average infected. The smoker has a long tongue, to pull unaware survivors long distances, then either attacks them, or dangles them from a height, strangling them. Although, smokers are weak, and if you just melee the survivor, they are free. The Witch appears harmless at first, just crying on the floor. Dont be fooled. A few hits, and your down. If you startle it, that is. You can sneak past. Next, the boomer is a bloated infected that if they are sick or explode on survivors, it attracts the whole horde. And the Tank. Highly mutated musclebased freak, able to move cars, get a survivor down in a few hits ect. Not to be messed with.

Next is Survival. Survival is what the name is. You must survive on a map from campaign for as long as possible without being overwhelmed. Each map has guns strategically placed, and bombs and cans of explosives everywhere. You need to use these to defend yourself. You play as one of the 4 survivors, as before. The marks for each medal are 4 minutes for bronze, 7 for silver, and a whopping 11 minutes for gold. You think that easy? Each normal infected does about 5 damage each hit, and you have 100 hp. You have medkits and pills to use, but pills are temporary, and medkits take a while to use. Not good. Tanks- if they hit a car and that hits you, your down. Hunter does about 10 each hit, smoker same. Boomer splodes on you… You can gather.

One last mode is Versus, where you may play as a special infected against the survivors, or survivors against infected. Each one is player controlled, except the survivors if there is only 1. The normal infected and the witch are AI controlled, but you may occassionally play the Tank. Like campaign, you go through the map. The difference is, you have points to compete with. For each map you gain points, and once the campaign ends, the points are tallied up to give you an overall score, as well as the other team. Each map you have two rounds, one to play as survivor and one for infected. The infected round gives you no points, while the other team gets points as the survivors. But you may cut their points short by killing them before they reach the Safe Room.

The last thing here is the user created content. Released recently, there are many user created maps, campaigns ect. Each can be played on their gamemode. ANYONE with the know how can create something with the Left For Dead Authoring tools. Although, I cant XD I’m useless. This game uses its own game engine, although it uses some models from the popular shooter WITH a storyline- Half Life 2. We’ll be reviewing this next time.

On the scale of ten, we give this a rating of 7.7/10.0 Worth a try, guys.
